Halka Art Project is a self-sustaining, independent art organization in Istanbul's Moda district, Kadıköy, running an international residency program since for artists, curators, writers, performers, and researchers from various disciplines. The program offers stays from 2-3 weeks to 3 months in a three-floor historic house with private rooms, shared studios, kitchen, bathrooms, garden, and gallery space, supporting project development through curatorial assistance, exhibitions, talks, and local connections. It emphasizes collaboration, community engagement, and production over mere tourism, with a program fee required.
