Residents typically stay 1-3 months, producing a site-specific project or exhibition in Uzhhorod or the region, along with an artist talk, lecture, or workshop, while engaging with the area's rich history and diverse communities. It emphasizes decentralization of Ukraine's cultural economy, cultural exchange, and supports Ukrainian artists with institutionally critical projects related to heritage and education.
