The Bogong Centre for Sound Culture (BCSC) is a remote-regional cultural initiative in Bogong Village, foothills of Victoria’s Alpine National Park, Australia, established in by Philip Samartzis and Madelynne Cornish to interrogate wilderness ecologies through site-responsive sound and music practices, including artist residencies, festivals, workshops, and public programs. It offers supported residencies (historically 2 weeks with accommodation and project support, no travel) for professional artists in sound art, photography, video art, and spatial practice, as well as self-funded residencies open to broad practices, encouraging interaction with the local environment and community. Recent and upcoming residencies include projects in , sound maps, and AiR periods like AiR_14—30.05..
