About
The Delfina Foundation Residency Program, based in London, offers opportunities for artists, curators, and writers to develop their practice, explore connections, and build collaborations. Residencies, lasting up to three months, are largely thematic and support both emerging and established cultural practitioners. The Foundation hosts 6 to 8 residents simultaneously in its central London location, providing flexible living and working space. Residents engage with international peers and the public, fostering artistic exchange and professional development. The program has a strong focus on critical issues in contemporary art and has established relationships with the Middle East, North Africa, and South Asia.

The follow up meeting were very useful. Specifically the one that the Delfina curator chose.
A wonderful experience surrounded by amazing people. I am normal super cynical but this programme was so supportive and held so beautifully by an incredible team. It is definitely more of a opportunity to explore networks, test ideas and meet people than a studio residency and the fee is not enormous but it is just about enough to get by on. The location is so central and the house is full of joy.
It is not aimed at production and clearly states that it does not provide artists’ studio. Great for making new connections, many doors open for Delfina residents. The staff is committed to connecting you to relevant contacts and making recommendations based on your research or trajectory. The apartment is very well designed and maintained. 3-months is an ideal duration if you are new to London.
