About
The Sound Art Residency at Musée du quai Branly – Jacques Chirac in Paris is a program for artists from Africa, Asia, Oceania, or the Americas to create sound art inspired by the museum's collections, in collaboration with Le Fresnoy – Studio National des Arts Contemporains. It spans several months, including research and creation phases in Paris and Tourcoing, culminating in a public presentation of the work, which may join the museum's permanent collection.
