Zoma Contemporary Art Center

About
Zoma Contemporary Art Center (ZCAC) is an eco-sensitive, educational artist-in-residence village in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, co-founded by artist Elias Sime and Meskerem Assegued, featuring architecture built with traditional techniques and recycled materials.[1][2][5] It serves as a museum, garden, and residency space that inspires artists through sustainability, material innovation, and integration of tradition with contemporary practice, particularly suiting installation artists and sculptors.[1][3] The program fosters knowledge exchange, hosts workshops with international artists, and integrates residents into Ethiopia's creative networks.[1][6]
