Benaco Arte is an artist residency program in Sirmione, Italy, by Lake Garda, designed for visual artists, writers, and curators to nurture their practice through a change of environment and engagement with the local rural community. Hosted in a 14th-century building typically used as a Bed & Breakfast, it offers stays of 2 weeks or 1 month in spring (May) and fall (October), with private bedrooms, shared or private studios, and activities like studio visits and open studios. Up to 5 residents are welcomed at a time, with fees covering housing, studio space, bicycles, and organized events.
